The Nancy Rothwell Award celebrates specimen drawing in schools and highlights the benefits of combining art and science.

The 2014 winners were announced during Biology Week 2014.

Winner of 7-11 year old category:
Spencer Turner, aged 10, from Farne Primary School in Newcastle
Winner of 12-14 year old category:
Jessica James, aged 12, from Withington Girls’ School in Manchester

Winner of 15-18 year old category:
Daniel Callaghan, aged 16, from St Leonard's Catholic School in Durham
