Outreach and Engagement Grants
RSB Outreach and Engagement grants look to fund outreach and engagement events worldwide. We run two rounds of funding: one for activities and events taking place throughout the year, and one for events specifically in Biology Week.
The grant scheme is now closed and will reopen in the autumn for grants for outreach and engagement events and activities taking place in 2020.
If you have an idea for an outreach event or activity and are looking for some additional funds to help make it a success, you can apply for up to either £200 or £500 towards event costs when the grant scheme next opens in October 2019.
We look to fund a wide range of public engagement and outreach events and activities. We are keen to support people who are experienced in event delivery, people hoping to organise their first event, and everyone in between.
- Small Grants: up to £200
- Full Grants: £201 - £500

The Royal Society of Biology is continually looking to increase our reach and presence. By directly supporting our members in the delivery of locally-focused events, we can help promote biology further afield and engage new audiences with varied and diverse biological topics.
