The University of Birmingham's Institute for Forest research in Staffordshire has been set up to investigate the effect of climate change on the growth of forest trees. The talk will outline the facilities and some of the research work being carried out there over a period of time. This lecture precedes the branch visit to the forest planned for spring 2020.
