The Wessex branch welcomes members and their family and friends to this exciting day out at The Hawk Conservancy Trust. It is the home of the National Bird of Prey Hospital as well as the base for many research projects, both nationally and globally. Open daily to the public, there is a rolling programme of bird displays and other activities.

The programme for the day will include a private talk from the hospital and collection manager and a lecture from Dr Campbell Murn FRSB (school of biological sciences, University of Reading) on his research work with vultures.
