This one-day course hosted by The Francis Crick Institute is aimed at beginners with no previous practical experience of flow cytometry, who have an understanding of the underlying theory and principles. It is a follow-up course to ‘
Introduction to flow cytometry'.
Participants will gain hands-on laboratory experience at the Francis Crick Institute in London, guided by expert trainers on how to set up the machine, run an experiment, analyse the results and troubleshoot.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Describe and use the key features of the software
- Perform quality control (QC) and know what to look for
- Set up an experiment on a flow cytometer
- Run an experiment with multiple fluorophores
- Understand and apply compensation
- Analyse the data
CPD
This training is approved by the Royal Society of Biology. Training course approval is an independent review process that recognises relevant, high quality training. Upon completion of this course, attendees can claim 18 CPD points.
