Your gift will help us to support future biologists, and continue to inspire new generations.

We are continually looking to increase our reach throughout the UK and overseas. By directly supporting our members and the wider public, we can ensure the future is bright for the biosciences and biologists.

From grant schemes and annual competitions, to professional training and school resources, the RSB is inspiring and supporting biologists at all levels. See more about how your gift can help.

A gift in your will is also a means to ensure that you can continue to support a cause that you care about beyond your lifetime.

Please download our guide for further information about leaving a gift in your will, or contact Ana Ilic to request a paper copy.

Type of gift

Unrestricted gift: a gift in your Will which is unrestricted is always the most helpful, as it allows us to use your gift where there is greatest need at that time.

Restricted gift: if you are particularly passionate about a specific area of our work, you could restrict your legacy gift to it. Please contact Ana Ilic if you are considering this option to ensure the wording of your Will matches our activities, otherwise we may not receive your gift.

Find a solicitor

You can visit the Remember A Charity website to find a solicitor in your local area, who will be able to advise you on leaving gifts to charities when making a Will.RAC Members Logo colour

The RSB has partnered with Remember A Charity – a group of over 140 charities set up to raise awareness of the importance of having a Will and leaving gifts to charities.

Tell us about your gift

If you have decided to leave a gift to the Royal Society of Biology in your will, it would be very helpful to us to know by filling in a quick Pledge Form. Doing so will assist the Society in its long-term planning and we would value the opportunity to thank you and keep you up to date with our work. The pledge is not binding and is simply a statement of your present intentions.
