Overview
This one-day workshop will enhance your ability to deliver engaging training sessions through the use of effective training techniques. The course is designed to enable you to consider how adults learn and how this impacts on design and delivery of training programmes.
The course will also provide known strategies for writing effective training courses and sessions. After completing the course, you will become more confident in your ability to deliver an effective training course. You will also be able to recognise the characteristics of effective trainers and use them to deliver great learning experiences.
Who is the course for?
Anyone who has a new responsibility to train others on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting. The course is also for delegates that have some experience in training and need to update and enhance their existing skills to deliver engaging interactive training to encourage change, improvement and an increase in productivity.

Course tutor
The trainer is an experienced consultant, presenter and trainer, working extensively in a variety of areas, including Train the Trainer. The trainer has over 20 years' experience in the field of training and learning and development in many organisations across the UK. The trainer has worked with many well-established and well-known companies, including the retail sector, charities, banking sector, construction industry, defence and many more.
Certification and Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
A certificate of attendance will be provided after the event.
We evaluate all of our training events, to make sure that we maintain a high quality of training.

Refunds
The Royal Society of Biology cannot offer refunds on training courses that have been attended. We do, of course, welcome any feedback from a course and will continue to improve the service we offer.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation with over 10 working days' notice = 100% refund, less 25% admin fee
Cancellation with 5-10 working days' notice = 50% refund, less 25% admin fee
Cancellation with less than 5 working days' notice = 0% refund
The Royal Society of Biology reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a training event up to 10 working days before the event is due to take place. A full refund will be issued.
If the Royal Society of Biology is required to cancel or reschedule a training event with under 10 working days' notice due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued and 50% of attendee prepaid travel will be compensated.
