A guided tour of Pensthorpe Nature Park

Attendees will be given a guided tour of the park by Richard Spowage, conservation officer at the Park. He will talk about the history of Pensthorpe; conservation management at the site (wildflower meadows, river Wensum); rare species conservation and breeding projects (cranes, curlews, turtle doves, corncrake); farming and conservation.

The afternoon will involve walking outside through meadows along paths. Attendees should come prepared for forecasted weather. Pensthorpe is well signposted on the road to Norwich, south of Fakenham and there is ample car parking on site.
