Join the Devon and Cornwall branch at their series of Bioscience Tals at Blundell's School.

 
The Devon and Cornwall branch is piloting a series of talks aimed at students in years 11 to 13. In 2019 the talks will be hosted by Blundell's School in Tiverton. The speakers will be international experts in various fields, and the aim is to present insights into opportunities for those intending to study biology or medicine. You can download the Spring/Summer programme of talks.
 
The fifth talk in this series will be from Professor David Hornby, University of Sheffield, and will cover 'Darwin in the Genome'.
 
Topics for 2019 include:
  • Tumour biology
  • Molecular genetics
  • Bioethics
  • Pharmaceutical Drug discovery
  • Anti-infectives

Booking

All are invited to attend the talks, free of charge, but please note that the talks may not be suitable for those below the age of 15 years. Advance booking is essential using the link at the top of the page.
